 | What types of programs are funded by the Children First Board? |
 | Programs that are funded must relate to the following state result areas for children birth through five:
1. Healthy Children
2. Children Ready to Succeed in School
3. Secure and Nurturing Families
4. Secure and Nurturing Child Care Environments
5. Safe and Supportive Communities |

| What is the process for requesting funding? |
| Generally, requests for funding are only accepted in the early spring. The Board reserves the right, however, to grant funding at other times througout the year if a specific need arises. |

| When is the Request for Proposals issued? |
| The Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued in late January. Completed proposals are due at the end of March. |
